“We are a Peruvian company with Korean roots that arrived in Peru in 2000 as a small company, Pesquería Producto del Kope EIRL. We established ourselves in the southern part of Peru, in the port of Matarani. Our story began in 2005 with a vision of continuous improvement. Day by day, we grew, container after container, making a name for ourselves in the Peruvian fishing industry. After several years, in 2018, what seemed distant became a reality. We achieved our first goal by building our first processing plant from scratch in Mollendo. In these new facilities, Pesquera Kope expanded its production capacity. Following this and considering the international market conditions, with the aim of growing and gaining more prominence, in 2021, we opened operations in one of the most significant fishing centers in Peru. Now, we are also located in Paita, Peru, having acquired Marine Product Service SAC (MPS SAC). Together with Pesquera Kope, we can freeze up to 100 tons/day of finished product. Hence, Pesquera HL S.A.C. was born, the export company named in honor of its founders Hong-Lim. It is dedicated to the commercialization of fishery products from both processing plants. This was Mr. Hong’s dream, which he now shares with us, bearing its fruits.”
